Tone mapper options
Do you have a favourite? I very much like sigmoid's simplicity for how fast you can obtain a good baseline result with often just two intuitive sliders to fine-tune in subsequent modules if needed.
I dabbled with the new AgX, but it hasn't clicked for me, yet. Some of the tutorials make AgX seem intuitive in its own right, but for me it seems the colors are thrown off when I use it which then leads to an editing goose chase I didn't ask for. Has anyone else encountered this? Does AgX warrant a bit more preset finetuning of the individual color channels for a specific camera body?

AgX all the way.
What's your process with it? Perhaps I just approach it the wrong way
I'm quite happy with AgX, I feel like I get to the result I want faster than with Filmic. I've never really tried Sigmoid or tone curve.
Do you have a specific example of what you're not satisfied with?
Filmic feels the least intuitive to me. I was glad to let that one go when I switched to Sigmoid. What's your process with AgX?
Edit: I might be editing some more in the next week, I'll see if I can come up with an example RAW file to share.
