Graham Chapman
Chapman was interesting for a lot of reasons, but I am posting this particularly because I just learned about his public memorial service. The surviving Monty Python crew stayed true to form for their friend. Among other silliness and shock humor, John Cleese "became the first person at a televised British memorial service to say 'fuck'." Later, Eric Idle closed his own remarks by saying, "I'd just like to be the last person at this meeting to say 'fuck'."

He did a speaking tour in the mid eighties and I managed to get tickets. He talked for a time and then took audience questions. That was 4 decades ago. Now I feel old.
The Larch?
Douglas fir. Though larches are cool, too.

The, Doug.
Also worth mentioning is this interview featuring Graham Chapman 10 years after his death.
As I recall, Cleese paraphrased the parrot sketch at his memorial.
I think I remember one of them saying, "good riddance!"
Right! Now let's see something decent, and military!
