I know crows have a huge fanbase, but I've always thought they were jerks.

The final straw for me was when a nest appeared in a neighbor's pine tree. All of the songbirds disappeared that summer as the crows predated the songbird nests for eggs, then offspring, and eventually the parents too. They'd hunt the baby rabbits in a pack. And worst of all, they'd grab roadkill and fly it up to the roof and dismembered squirrel and rabbit parts would rain down down on the deck from on high.

Fuck those birds.

Haha, yeah sounds like corvids. I love them even if they're assholes. On a positive note they can predate invasive species like this house sparrow too.

My mother was a crow fan. She liked them because when there was a windfall they'd call their friends and share as a group. Not like the filthy seagulls who'd fight. Mom would save kitchen scraps and throw them in the field on garbage day so they'd leave her trash bags alone. They in turn respected her trash and left her bags alone, even though they'd tear them open on the farm on either side.

God I love crows. The ones at my SO's work always fly up and say hi when I drop them off
