My partner was at a pet store to buy 2 female rats. I asked "So, all the ones in this cage are female, right?". "Yes" said the employee, when suddenly she noticed a rat in the cage with giant rat testicles. "Whoops, he shouldn't be here" she laughed nervously, scooping the male up and dropping him into the next cage over, "They shouldn't be old enough to breed yet, anyway".
And that's how my partner's 2 female rats became 23.

In France, they come free in many schools. You can even choose between a rat and a cockroach!
