I don't know if the person who wrote that headline is an idiot or intentionally misrepresenting it...

Here's a random example:

Drew Cox is the Democratic candidate in the 4th Congressional District of Indiana, in the west-central part of the state. The district has been held by Republicans for the last 32 years, and for the last eight by incumbent Jim Baird. According to his campaign website, while Cox is a musician and was initially a Marine bandsman, in 2011 he was “individually augmented out of the band and sent to Kabul, Afghanistan. During his deployment, Drew conducted over 700 tactical vehicle movements, safely and successfully completed over 80 general/flag officer movements, and ensured the safety of over 2,200 personnel during tactical vehicle movements.”

"Military-intelligence" means "military intelligence".

What they are trying to say seems to be "Military/intelligence" which is an "either/or" thing.

I didn't see a single example of someone who was actually in intelligence though.

Like, I don't think they have any idea about how the military is the only way out of generational poverty for a shit ton of Americans.

But everytime I see an article from the website, I have to ask myself "are they stupid or intentionally spreading propaganda". And it doesn't even matter what the answer is, the result for everyone else is the same.

I'm certain it's the later. I've met a couple guys that contribute and they are highly intelligent.
