Jeffries says House Democrats reaching to flip Trump districts in attempt to repeat their 2018 sweep

House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries said Sunday his party is on track to win back control of the House, confident Democrats can overcome a fundraising disadvantage and reach deep into conservative areas to flip congressional districts won by President Donald Trump just two years ago.

In a conference call with reporters, Jeffries, who is in line to become House speaker if Democrats seize the majority, compared this midterm election to 2018, when Democrats swept to power during Trump’s first term in the White House.

“House Democrats are poised to take back the majority,” he said.

He's trying to take credit for something he's actively tried to prevent. He's got to go.

Centrist Democrats only win seat because the GOP is a completely inept party that continually uses an ideology that always makes everything worse.

Every centrist must be primaried by a progressive that doesn’t accept corporate or AIPAC money.

The DNC has been doing it since they kicked the neoliberals out...

Jeffries is just trying to make it look like he had anything to do with it.

And he is absolutely not going to get House majority leader, the reason he got minority leader is that election was weeks before the DNC chair, and sitting congress members had to operate under the assumption neoliberals would retain it, if they did they would have bankrupted any state whose reps didn't vote Jeffries/Schumer.

The "victory fund" is gone, the money returned to the states. The neoliberals lost what they used to control the party, so Jeffries ain't becoming Majority leader
