"Hello, please ramble about thing inside your brain"

SO

When I was a child, I had trauma to one of my fingers once so bad the nail withered, died, and fell off. Did you know a nail growing from nothing hurts a lot? Also is not like. It's weird. Because it grows up from the nail bed, not like from the bottom pushing towards the tip. The entire bed grows upwards and makes a words spongy look until it grows fully in. It looked gross. I think the kids call it trypophobia now? But maybe that was because I was a kids and it was a trauma thing it did that.

Sometimes whatever is inside my brain is less gross though.

Spiders

I think spiders are so freaking cool! One of the coolest animals on the planet. The way they have adapted into different types of predators from creating a sticky trap using material made from their own body to changing color to match their surroundings in order to ambush their prey. The way they grow back broken body parts as they shed into adulthood. All the different colors, shapes, and sizes they come in 😍

They are just so fucking cool and I want to talk about them more but when I mention the cool looking green lynx spider I saw or the giant orbweaver with a skull like marking on its back, someone always has to mention that time they squished a spider 😕

I wish more people saw spiders as friends because they are just that damn awesome.

Hey, could you explain this esoteric thing that you’ve been dying to explain to somebody but you don’t want to bring it up until it comes up in a natural conversation so you don’t seem like a weirdo?

How my day was. Or how I am doing. And actually caring about the answer and not just expecting a "good, thanks"...
