They should ban all this deployment garbage and just make it that more throttle means more power, equally split and linear.

Engine power itself is not constant/linear when applying the throttle depending on the revs, so even just trying to match that with the deployment still requires a bit of software/mathy maths which can still lead to bugs like today. I don't disagree simpler is better, but it can't be quite that simple.
