I'm liking it. I put my beta excitement on the sky elf start as I don't have actual interest in playing one long term. But it was fun to see their story. Haven't poked my head into Azeroth yet.

Love that they added updated graphics though I do agree there's some problems with visual cohesion, even while using them. I also like the new systems, the camping etc. but I feel there's some lack of polish and not sure it's just because it's beta. Little details like Skinners make a chair for the Camp - the chair is very fully wooden. I feel like Blizzard could do a bit better at this point and not doing so adds a slightly cobbled together quality. But we'll see what kind of stuff there's beyond the start.

Thank you for this. I don’t usually play beta in any game because of resets. But after your comment rattled around my brain for a bit, I decided to try the beginner quests to check out the new race. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that before 🙃 Not sure I’ll stick with the sky elf either though, but it’s fun.

I played a lot the first week but have slowed down since. I’m excited for release but already feel a little hesitant to dump more time into the beta other than class testing for figuring out where I want to focus on release.

Anyone make any decisions on race/class plans yet?

I've barely had time to play, but it'll probably be hunter or druid as is tradition unless I really like undead paladin.

It's pretty good, I like the class changes, especially to tank. Absolutely fell in love with Bear tanking, it's aggressive to the point that my rage can become unlimited and I can reach top DPS when RNG is on my side. Will spend the remaining time testing out the other two tanks, who are currently at 20.

I am a bit sour on the changes to dungeons. I was forced to quest in Thousand Needles due to running out of exp in Hillsbrad, and had to deal with competition over interactable items and infrequent spawns, and one bugged quest with a 10 minute wait and no shared quest over an interactable. I've never wanted more than to just go into a dungeon and grind some levels out. Genuinely may have actually had more fun grinding Scarlet Crusade elites outside the monastery for a level.

I also got a cold call from someone that wanted me to tank Wetlands, and I had to decline, because a 30 minute dungeon and a 10-15 minute continent change, flight and jog down from Hammerfall was just not worth it to me, even as a zippy Feral Druid.

I haven't had much time to play it and can't really be assed to do things like professions when knowing it will just get reset next month.

I like the sky elves more than I thought I would, though.

I really want something off kilter though. A new class or a new spec on an existing class like tank shaman or something.
