“We didn't manage to test the software as extensively as we would have liked because there's been very little wet running this year

This is such a weak excuse for the pinnacle of motorsports. They could have simulate this scenario without the track being wet for testing.

We need more tracks like Sepang instead of street tracks or the abomination that is madring.

You can feel the passion from the crowd through the screen.

software supplied by the FIA and developed together with the teams over the course of multiple years was responsible for all the chaos.

Since 2008 probably as that's when the spec ECU came into force.

Before all you conspiracy theorists get yourself in a twist because your driver isn't winning.

“I've never seen or felt anything like that. I was shocked that… I didn't even know that the FIA could control our throttle pedal. That was quite scary, actually”, the Haas driver said.

“My throttle pedal just stopped working. It was like it was not connected and the engine was just idling. It was so weird, I mean, shocking.”

When even the drivers don't know about this it should be something new. Also the article says they couldn't test it in rain, and there were some rainy races since 2008, and somehow this wasn't a problem...

Do you think it's exactly the same software since 2008?

This has been developed with the team's input since.

Then what was the point of your comment? It's a new thing, this minisector stuff and limiting the ECU was added this year, and this was buggy/vibecoded/ben sulayemed...

was buggy/vibecoded/ben sulayemed...

I could say a lot. But the fact you included MBS is incredibly telling.

Do you genuinely think he's at the computer, loading up the IDE, vertical monitor and all?

Or did you just want to get that anti-Arab racism out of your system?

WTF man, who cares about where he comes from... He is just an annoying CEO, regardless of origin.
