Infuriating. Stop the bill because 'its not good enough' is so stupid. Progress is progress, even if its not perfect. We can always change it if it doesn't work out.
I understand changing something is actually harder than implementing something, but this isn't something new its fixing something that should been fixed TODAY.
This is a main reason why Newsom is second to last in my list of preferred 2028 Democratic nominees who have expressed interest.
That's conservatism. You identified a problem but your suggestion isn't flawless? Too bad, we can't move on from the shitty situation.
