It's not that much when you consider the same production in the open field environment would take 10x the land area.

I have been in a bunch of those greenhouses. It looks almost like snow when you get up on the hills.

Crazy. Why can't we devise a system where everyone has their own assigned time in the year to pick crops in a hothouse to spread out the suffering rather than have an underclass of near slaves live in squalor while native Europeans live cushy lives?
