Protools and the Output Window
When doing sound design I constantly have to open the Output Window of each track to adjust / glide pans and LFE sends.
Is there a way to assign a shortcut to them. The ideal workflow would be that a keyboard shortcut opens the selected tracks Output Window.
This would be very handy to have a s a keyboard shortcut but sadly I don’t think it exists. You could look into Soundflow or keyboard maestro to see about making your own shortcut. I think the hard part is how to tell your automator app which track is selected.
Yeah exactly. I've heard that KM has some kind of OCR built in, maybe it could help. It's crazy that's there's no kb shorcut for this, I use it about 200 times per day.
