This is typical. Gavin is a sexist, transphobic bigot, but he lacks the conviction to veto more than one or two when the legislature brings a bunch of LGBT bills to his desk all at once.
Previously, he vetoed the HRT stockpiling law and signed the rest. This time he did the same, signing all but the extradition bill. He thought it was very important to make sure his office retains the ability to give women and trans people to law enforcement in other states to be charged with the crime of getting healthcare.
Polls told him to grow a spine, huh.

It’s so unfortunate that the job attracts that kind of person instead of altruistic people more often but I imagine it’s a societal issue. America is so obsessed with competition and ego but I guess we’re subjected to it from birth
