By the way, this account just rips shit straight from reddit and posts it here without even being creative enough to change the title. Their other recent post to this community talked about their pizza leftovers perfectly fitting into the box when it wasn't even theirs.
I consider it a service that I don’t have to go to Reddit. As much as people want to think so, Lemmy isn’t at critical mass yet and sometimes needs an injection of content.
That's what redlib is for. And to be clear, I said if you don't want to see it, block. It's up to you.
Personally, I don't think the threadiverse is so starved for content that we need to make word-for-word reposts here. In my personal opinion, the threadiverse shouldn't be reddit lite. The small size makes it so you can scroll through the content, see and interact with familiar users, and then leave. It doesn't need to be an endless scroll type of thing.
Also, there are several properly tagged bots that repost from reddit, and that's all they do. This user is not tagged as a bot, so people have to block them to get rid of their posts. There are actually several untagged accounts that have been doing this lately.
And last time I said this on shitpost at lemmy.today, turned out, that bot acc was actually a month old mods alt acc and they didn't like people calling out their auto copy-poster publically. They removed my post and banned me. It brought back memories of being on reddit in ancient times.
Whilst I agree that Amazon owning Whole Foods is concerning in many ways, in many parts of the USA markets don’t exist. Where they do, they’re often just reselling Walmart or Costco produce.

Here's this post on Reddit:
Here it is on redlib: https://redlib.privadency.com/r/oddlysatisfying/comments/1wtx08x/the_produce_section_at_a_brand_new_whole_foods/
If this form of untagged bot posting isn't for you, I recommend blocking OP.
Also how is this not an ad for bezos mart?

This is a very good point!
You are reddit agent stirring drama trying to decontent lemmy
You are the one bringing reddit into lemmy, to be clear.
Not a not you weirdos
Huh?
So whole foods is a part of the massive food waste system,l rejecting vegetables that don't perfectly stack on their shelves?
Whole Foods is also 100% owned by Amazon, so this isn't super shocking.
Not sure I'm oddly satisfied about giving money to billionaires
I'm not American, but I'm guessing they reject a lot of stock too
Here in Australia, Woolworths at least offers bags of vegetables that don't meet standards at a discount
You're best off going to the market
We've got farmers markets in the US with better produce, and you're buying it from small privately owned farms.
It's the way to go
Whilst I agree that Amazon owning Whole Foods is concerning in many ways, in many parts of the USA markets don’t exist. Where they do, they’re often just reselling Walmart or Costco produce.
uhh, am i reading this wrong or are these stacked vertically? seems rather impractical, everything will fall out
and if they're horizontal, then how do you reach in to take something out? that aisle is huge. 2m minimum
also bell peppers are the best
That missing red pepper on the top, left of centre... 😬
EDIT - and bottom, right of centre...
Not to mention the zucchini taken from the right 😭
My day is now completely ruined.
