FOSS and/or ADB screen dimmer below 0%?

Hi all,
There are a number of apps on the Android App Store that enable you to lower the minimum backlight brightness (or claim to), but I'm looking for de-Googled FOSS options.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Tideo Auto Brightness may be what you're looking for.

It is a fork of another project which you might look at as well. It's mentioned in the docs.
Though.. Holy Claude. Those commit messages have used an entire lake by now.

Oh nice find I will give that a shot.
