If there's a guy on this planet I would think bought that in order to drop people in the middle of nowhere and hunt them down like dogs, it's Alex Karp.
SYAC: Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, purchased 15,000 hectares (37,000 acres) of forest in Härjedalen, Sweden, for 235 million kronor ($22 million). For comparison, Liechtenstein covers an area of about 16,000 hectares.
Well I wonder where the newest bunker a technocrat billionaire builds will be located.. it’s a mystery
his master thiel fled to ARGENTINA, would karp go there to, after sweden blocks his compounds, like NZ did with thiel.
Very normal.
So um… They makin one of these? https://pantheon-amc.fandom.com/wiki/Svalbard_data_center
For some context on how empty the place is, the largest town in Härjedalen is Sveg, with a population of 2500 people.
I definitely believe that Karp bought land for 20 million dollarydoos because "it looks nice", nothing to see here!
My takeaway is that Sweden will sell to anybody.
A potential motivation could be his interest in cross-country skiing. That area is very good for it.
