DNS4EU blocking ddocs.new?

Hello everyone.

I tried to access ddocs.new to access my to-add words list to a flash card app that I'm using to learn a language. First, it told me I'm offline, which I found strange, when I switched browsers I got greeted with this page, screenshot of which is above.

I switched to DNS4EU because I had issues with the Proton VPN default DNS, as it seemed like the easiest pick as I wanted a DNS from Europe. I switched to Quad9, and the website is accessible properly now.

Should I be concerned? Is this a malicious website as they say, does anyone know why they're blocked? I'm not using it for anything important.

Just switch to alternative DNS of use the one provided by your VPN of choice.

Nobody should ever use a DNS that discriminates against content.

That's like a gardener who wants to know to whom you are going to give these roses, and then he tells you his opinion about her.

No, its like having a gardener who sees weeds and removes them because they cause harm.

Having a DNS provider who actively filters out malware and known bad websites is a layer in keeping you safe online. False positives will happen, there is no avoiding them. I've had to deal with FortiGuard false positives a lot.

You reached the end
