How to tag picnic shelter with built-in toilets?

I mapped a building with amenity=shelter and then added an amenity=toilets along one edge, but the toilets didn't render in the default view. I know we're not supposed to map for the renderer but it would be nice to tell folks there's a bathroom available.

Is there a good solution for this?

@DavidP I think it's correct, even though there are many valid ways for this I think. Maybe adding the toilets as a node in the building would make them more visible (and would be valid as well)? By the way maybe an "tourism=picnic_site" / "shelter_type=picnic_shelter" would be appropriate with the "amenity=shelter" too?

Eh, there is more then just the OSM.org-view to show OSM data, don't worry about that.

I prefer the toilets to be a different node, as one can then add many more attributes to it without needing a prefix.

@DavidP Yeah it's not perfect but at least it should appear on apps when a user searches for toilets nearby. I don't know if there's better options...

@DavidP One closed way for the inner building, with the toilets tagged on the building or as a separate node (depending on whether they occupy the whole of the building). Then either a second closed way or a multipoloygon for the roof around there central building (depending on whether it extends from the building on all four sides).
