My first time finding eastern black trumpets!
Admittedly, I stepped on a few of them before my brain kicked in. I wasn't expecting to find them at this location, though there were smooth chanterelles, small chanterelles, russulas, amanitas and boletes in the same area. The trees were mostly white oak and maple with some hickory mixed in.

A busy day in the woods. I also found Laetiporus, a chestnut bolete, a green-cracking russula, smooth chanterelles and the first lion's mane of the season.
