This is a nothing-burger. The "comprehensive review" is in fact a mini-review. The pilot was 20 patients in a single arm study - there was no active or passive controls and neither the patients or their caregivers were blind to the intervention. And the meta review?

For someone who just read the headlines and up voted(not proud, not guilty either) the post, thanks for the comment.

Also helps with one of the most important factors in aging gracefully: retaining muscle mass.

Son of a bitch. I hate the taste of creatine, but am at a very high risk of Alzheimers.

Pure creatine is nearly flavorless. You can also mix it with other flavored drinks.

It dissolves slowly in cold water. If you take it, you could try mixing with hot coffee or tea.

Yea I know you can, but I'm still a little sketched out mixing it with hot water. I'll keep pretending I'm at the beach instead :)

That's not at all my experience. I've tried so many different versions and it's a very strong flavor to me.

It's more expensive but you can get it in capsules to swallow.

Ah, that's totally valid. I was cultivating Lionsmane mushrooms to help with my memory issues, but it was such a pain the ass, so I went with capsules and they work far too well. I can only take 1-2 per week, as otherwise I dream way way too hard. Like, I might turn one of my latest dreams into erotica and it would be compelling.

I'll look into the creatine capsules, that should solve my fundamental problem.

I've never been able to taste it and searching reveals that pure creatine monohydrate is most likely tasteless. However, some people describe it as slightly sour. However, my experience and that of most people that I'm seeing online report it as being easily masked by coffee, tea, or protein shakes.

Also, I think you meant confidently. I only mention it because it seems like the details matter to you.

Care to explain why that's wrong? Plain creatine monohydrate has very little flavor IME. It doesn't dissolve well in cold drinks, but you can still disperse it into liquids.

You reached the end
