Low turn out but promising result! Before some argue the Alberta Progressive Tories split the UCP vote, so did the alberta liberal party from the NDP.

I saw that argument too but you could also assume that a lot of people didn’t want to vote for UCP any longer. And neither like the NDP (in Calgary a lot of people soured on Nenshi). So the Tories were a good non-UCP conservative option.
