False, they didn't actually try every cure. The most obvious one would have good, social politics, what they did instead was what every scientist told them doesn't work: copying the AfD's anti-migrant program, people who want that just vote the original.

Or y'know, just ban them, their program is clearly incompatible with Germany's constitution, and to a much higher degree than the established parties.

I can't watch this. It's read by an artificial voice and consists solely of bouncy graphics that are probably also AI made.
The voice makes it sound like there's some sinister secret at the heart of it all, one they will reveal eventually...
But I can't watch this for another 15 min to find out.
It's not like this election result was a big surprise to anyone:

• that state always had the highes number of AfD voters, even within the former East
• they've been on the rise for a while now
• some local chapters and individuals are proven extremist and anti constitution, but not all of it
• yes there's an effort to prove that the whole party is unconstitutional but it hasn't concluded yet
• The CDU has been in a downward spiral for a long while now

So, did I miss anything by not watching it?

AfD is the result of the self-imposed austerity mania that Germany has proudly pursued, which has led to such a lack of investment that even the most basic needs, such as infrastructure repairs, have been neglected.
