Didn't 4 just come out? And was met with an audience of "meh" and microtransactions?

I’ll admit, I felt the same thing when I saw it announced, but 2029 is 3 years from now & that’s if it launches then. Not guaranteed.

Tbf when diablo 4 "came out" it was unfinished and had no endgame.

I didn't play much more of it and didn't get why expensions but I'd say it's "finished" release was more realistically later than it's official release date.

I mean yea, but the gap between 3 and 4 was like a decade (2012 amd 2023 respectively) . And the gap between 2 and 3 was also a decade (2001 and 2012)...

So getting a sequal to 4 when it's only been 3 years feels premature.

I know 3 years feela like a long time when you're <30
