Osama Bin Laden Won
Bin Laden’s plan was to trap the U.S. in expensive, foreign quagmire wars that would trigger a domestic economic collapse. It was patterned on the strategy that the local mujahideen, he and other foreign fighters, and the U.S. and its allies had used to defeat the Soviet Union in Afghanistan.
Not only does bin Laden’s strategy continue apace long after his 2011 death, but it also spawned an even more effective means of destroying America from within. Bin Laden’s attacks turned the U.S. government into an engine for the destruction of America, inducing it to implement policies that have devastated the country and immiserated its people. That includes unrestrained spending while cutting taxes on the rich, closer ties with despotic regimes, the sneak-and-peek warrants and roving wiretaps of the Patriot Act and other domestic surveillance programs, and the ruinous failed forever wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere.
In 2001, the U.S. government recorded a budget surplus of about $128 billion and was projected to pay off the national debt by 2009. But after miring the U.S. in forever wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, and elsewhere, bin Laden looked upon the fruits of 9/11 and took a victory lap in 2004, bragging that his strategy of “bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy” had helped to push the U.S. deficit to “more than a trillion dollars.”
“All that we have to do is to send two mujahidin to the furthest point east to raise a piece of cloth on which is written al-Qaida, in order to make the generals race there to cause America to suffer human, economic, and political losses without their achieving for it anything of note,” bin Laden announced.
Bin Laden’s 2004 trillion-dollar boast wasn’t actually accurate. The U.S. federal deficit was just $413 billion in 2004. But it wouldn’t remain that low for long. America’s post-9/11 wars have now cost or caused long-term obligations to taxpayers of an astonishing $8 trillion, according to a 2021 analysis by Brown University’s Costs of War Project.

you can't "win" when you were hired to play.
Can you really claim a victory if your opponent was going willingly bring themselves into expensive foreign quagmire wars regardless?
Dude sitting in car is considered a credible source these days?
Anyway. You don't need to make up a conspiracy theory when a much simpler explanation exists.
US intelligence forces probably let it happen. When they could have stopped it. All so they could get the surveillance state they wanted.
From all the evidence I've seen, it's more likely 9/11 was an inside job from the Bush administration and Mossad than Osama Bin Laden.
Edit: you can continue to downvote me considering it's meaningless numbers anyway but here is a source where someone discusses all of the inconsistencies in multiple videos.
You'd have to be a bot, shill or braindead to actually believe the official story from one of the most corrupt capitalist empires in modern history.
Between the ex CIA director being involved with property and put options the day before the event, the wealthy Israeli billionaires not being in the trade towers on the one day that this happened and spent every other day there; mossad agents caught taking photos and cheering as the towers came down that same day, tower 7 that just randomly falling too.
And just a little bit more evidence here
And someone else discussing about all the things that don't add up.
Fair point but have you considered that the "sources" you shared are from Instagram which have no structural reason to be honest with you.
You're right, they lie about stuff all the time, but the way you make your case is lacking.
I have thought that, but throughout the years, I've heard these same stories from different media groups, questioned by various institutions, and these people I linked (who back up their videos with news headlines from the time, newspaper articles from different sources) who are much more knowledgeable on the topic raised serious questions that were never answered.
It just seems like too much of a coincidence when the official narrative is even more lacking in answers than the CIA/Mossad plot theories. And since when has society just decided "we said it's Osama and terrorists. Nobody is allowed to ask further questions or its a conspiracy and any plot holes need to be ignored".
And you're right, the case is a bit lacking, but I'm not here saying it's definitely a conspiracy, I'm just saying I've heard different perspectives that makes way more sense than the narrstive spread by the corrupt capitalist empire that had all the reasons to go into the middle east.
If you really think that mossad agents would gather in the streets to dance for joy on 9/11, you can't call anybody an idiot.
Humanity is so fucked lol. This person probably votes.
You're presented with well-written, long-form journalism including citations, and you respond with instatrash and think you've "won."
The person who wrote this article actually thought this shit out, dude. They synthesized information like an adult, and used that information to construct views and arguments.
Fuck your Instagram conspiracy bullshit.
Are you kidding me? This is your retort to multiple people bringing sources? Holy shit you must be one of the dumbest motherfuckers on this planet.
You're right, we are absolutely fucked because smooth-brained morons like yourself cant actually think past the narrative they're told. As soon as a single question comes up, your two-celled brain short-circuits and just starts spurting shit.
You're right, I do vote and vote for progressive leftist politicians because only a fucking dumpster fire of a human would vote for conservative or right-wing politicians.
Grow the fuck up you bottom-feeding loser.
Except you're one person, and your "source" is Instagram.
Had you actually read this article (or honestly any reality-based analysis of 9/11 over the past 25 years) you'd come to the same conclusion that the author so very obviously reaches: it wasn't an inside job because it didn't have to be. They just let it happen.
That's the "conspiracy" and it's right there in the fucking open. Nobody needs to click on your dumbass Zuck links to get there.
You dumb fucks really have a room temp IQ hey.
Also, your photographs are dogshit lol you should be embarrassed.
Well that's certainly a reasonable response to valid criticism
Valid criticism? You're a joke.
Instead of actually looking at the links and checking sources, you started by throwing ad hominems and not even actually trying to explain any of the serious fallacies in the narrative.
It's more likely you're all just scum Zionists and genocide lovers who would rather sling shit than actually engage in any meaningful way.
Go touch grass, eat shit, and have the day you deserve.
My sibling in Satan this all began with you commenting on an article you clearly didn't even bother to read, why should anyone click on anything you post in response to it.
So I was going to just quote back all fifteen of the ad hominems you've used in this comment chain alone, but it's frankly too much effort. My favorite was the comment about my photography🤣 Did I seriously hurt your lil fee-fees so much you had to go through my post history so you could downvote all of it? Bro nobody cares it's fucking lemmy lol.
Have a good life
The plot was underway long before Bush took office, before even the presidential election and Bush's nomination. It'd make more sense to claim it was an inside job by the Clinton administration but sure, whatever, gotta parrot the tired conspiracy.
Saudis are more likely the ones plotting... many saudi nationals were funding Al‐queda. Bin laden was saudi... so were 15 of the 19 terrorists were saudi. And who benefits when the US comes and cripples neighboring nations oil industry? Of course the CIA interfered with many FBI investigations, so noone can really be sure. 🤔
I mean, bin laden definitely led the planning of the bombing, that's without question. Did the cia and mossad supply support and cover? Most likely, but bin laden absolutely was the leader of that operation.
"Evidence"
Sources?
Trust me, bro!
lol, na…
What would it look like if it was (and covered up)?
If you apply the scientific method to matters of espionage and war you will be very confused by reality.
The scientific method requires experimentation. You’re confusing that with scientific and media literacy.
I’m not saying there aren’t real life conspiracies… there absolutely are, but a confluence of coincidences, negligent decisions, and bad timing do not constitute a conspiracy. Any coverup of 9/11 would more likely be to protect themselves from the embarrassment of those things…
I appreciate providing sources, but I’m skeptical of anything that’s only been published on instagram. I’d be happy to look at a credible source.
That's what I'm saying. Those users link and discuss the credible sources (newpapers, news coverage, documentaries, interviews, erc) better than I can. It's not only published on instagram, that's just the links I posted.
I'm not going to waste my time this afternoon linking articles for other bots and shills (not you because you seem to have engaged in discussion instead of thoughtless vitriol) to conveniently ignore or push the goal posts further away.
And before anyone says I'm vitriolic too, my comments are always in response to someone doing it first who needs to be put in their place.
If anything, I regret trying to awaken anyone and despise the sheep in this shithole.
