But to give a shorter version, Post Today is meant to be a reliable, low effort place to share and discuss almost anything you want, and to see how many days in a row you can go without breaking your streak.

Early reddit had r/reddit as a catch all place to post and I think it did a lot to grow the site. While I know various c/random, c/justpost, and c/interestingshare communities exist and are great, I think I am offering something a bit different here.

My hope is that it'll catch a bit of the 196 vibe, but be more varied, and that it will lead to an interesting community.

Or it'll just be me posting and it'll be like a little personal blog I can look back through. I've had communities go both ways ahah.
