Oh my bad, you right. I'm sick and can't read apparently.
People using early access software as if it’s complete has been a thing since forever.
PuTTY still isn’t v1.0 and that’s been around 27+ years. Hasn’t stopped it becoming the defacto SSH/SCP client for Windows.
Compiz never made it to v1 and was used by basically every Linux desktop environment back in the day.
Neovim, MAME, mpv, fzf; same story.
It doesn’t matter how much a developer stresses something isn’t complete yet, that is meaningless to the adoption rate by users.
Same thing with games. If anything, I prefer things the way they are vs countless games never seeing the light of day because they’re not “done”.
It’s on the user to accept the state of release, not the developers, not the platform, not the package manager.
You must be fun at parties.
Judging from your post history, you seem to be a master at disregarding nuanced statements. Are you a relative of Lembot or something?
It's insane how brainwashed G*mers are now.
They'll complain about early access games, yet defend Steam's decision to sell them.
They'll complain about third party launchers. Despite using the Steam middleman.
They'll complain about physical releases being shelved. Yet haven't bought a physical game in years.
They'll bitch and moan about Sony. They put Palworld to the top of the Steam charts.
I forgot about AI games as well.
Complain all day long about those. Never angry at Steam for selling them though.
