What began as a dig at Talarico [advocating for reducing meat consumption] to combat climate change, turned into an innuendo-laden tirade.

“He ran a campaign to beat meat. He called it ‘beat meat.’ I don’t know what the hell he meant by that,” Trump said during his takedown of Talarico.

He paused his speech as the audience burst into laughter before adding, “But it was bad for his image, so he started eating meat.”

But then he seemed to realize how controversial his comments were. He backtracked, saying, “It’s getting worse. I’m getting in trouble. It’s getting worse.”

That's it. He has said far more outrageous things. There wasn't even really any example of "outrage" in this article either, just comments from people saying it's stupid or immature, just like with everything else he says.

Is this any worse than the other things? Like giving bjs to the mic, or making fun of the disabled reporter? This is kinda tame...
