The bad guys in Lethal Weapon were special forces guys who developed narcotics networks while doing black ops in Viet Nam.

Actually, Mel Gibson's Riggs was all fucked up in that movie because of his experiences in Viet Nam, too.

Really, almost none of Lethal Weapon would have happened if we had taken better care of our veterans or, preferably, just stayed the fuck out of Viet Nam to begin with.
