Testing my new Pentax Q10
Had a little wander yesterday and despite the damp had fun with my new camera! I shot this raw and then had fun editing it in darktable.
It's not much, but it's where I'm starting my photography journey :)

The Q10 back when it was rumored and released was my obsession to get. It's just so cute and diminutive. This was back I. college, where my peers all went to the expected APS-C sized canons and nikons, here I was looking at small interchangeable lens cameras like this and naturally m43. I settled on an Olympus epl6 used that somehow has a 7 badge? and like most college kids that got sucked in fads, I never really took up photography.
I still have the EPL, just that idk how much it would cost to refurbish it, or find anybody that can.
I'm nearly 30 but it's very fun to get caught up in a fad! I heard some people talking about the Q10 and thought it sounded so cute. It's hard to articulate why but getting into photography by buying a tiny camera that's no longer made and only ever had 8 lenses is very much the vibe I want.
