If the game has gems or coins or some other bullshit, it's instantly uninstalled.

I check the in-app purchase list and if there’s anything in there other than “unlock full game” or “remove ads,” it’s never installed in the first place.

There’s good phone games out there. Don’t waste time on shitty ones.

Wait, Stardew Valley has a mobile version? I've gotta check that out.

Also, I would like to add to the list of great mobile games Balatro, Slay the Spire and Arknights (the last one is a gacha, admittedly, but an extremely f2p-friendly and engaging one)

Yup, I do play Balatro and Slay the Spire, but I’ll never ever play a game with any dark pattern in it.

I respect the boundary, just wanted to mention some games that I personally enjoy and that aren't a microtransation hell.

What about games that aren't just ports of pc/console games

Those are also good too.

However, so much stuff has started on iOS or PC/console, and eventually made it to the other side, that keeping track of exclusivity is difficult if not impossible. I don’t have this list memorized. Most mobile pbone gamers don’t think in terms of exclusivity, they think in terms of good games.

Play the games you enjoy on the computer you want to play them on.

Bloons TD 6, offline games.

Gotta throw vampire survivors in there too even though that's a port of a pc game. That game is just perfect for mobile.

OPUS is legitimately a series I really loved The Day We Found Earth is a gem, it doesn't feel like it was projected as "mobile game, so throwaway waste of time" The story is appealing, graphics is on point stylization, the music is phenomenal

Also, if you want a more arcadey, Bullet Hell Monday Simple to learn, insanely difficult to master, music score is a 10 outta 10

Sometimes I wonder if there's a cool game out there that is just buried in microtransactions and greed.

Is there a community that removes microtransactions from pay to win games to make them enjoyable? Like pirates do with copy protection, just for greed?

You reached the end
