Slingshot Speeders — Leap, Flow State, and a cleaner Home
Play: https://slingshotspeeders.com/
Maps
- Leap (Easy) is first on Home. Leave the start, sit the far hoop. Recommended for beginners.
- Hover is Easy now. Closer orbit, smaller body, you start at the top. Sit ten seconds beside it.
- Catch Up (Medium) — three gold lines, then sit the hoop.
- Flow State (Hard) — five gold lines, then sit the orbit.
- Donut is off Home. Sit an ORBIT hoop to win. Prime and Reach stay on Easy.
NEW! is on Leap, Hover, Catch Up, and Flow State.
Editor
MapMake: ORBIT wins when your loop stays inside the hoop, not outside it. A finished hoop goes green when the next stage arms. CLEAR starts a fresh draft; SAVE keeps the last one. ANNULUS is gone — one hoop is enough.
Free to play. Same ship, same start.

I also did play a community map twice but it didn't really seem to recognize the runs (it did not say it couldn't validate) https://slingshotspeeders.com/r/ssw0r8wk
Should be fixed now, thanks for mentioning it.
Did this happen on more than one community map? Or just that one? Thanks for trying it out.
I already figured this out, no worries.
I was able to reproduce the issue, working on it now, your runs were logged just issue with them displaying on the community map leaderboards.
Ah, nice. I just played all the community maps because I saw your other message, it seems to work now (or at least the issue isn't happening for me now). Thanks!
Hey hey, I ran into another bug, on some maps sometimes there is no "next goal," so I get stuck waiting when I should have won, here's an run which I quit that shows this: https://slingshotspeeders.com/r/z9t8lqr0
Mapmake doesn't crash for me anymore though!
Also, the leaderboard for water rapids is interesting...
I went faster with less delta-V, but scored less! Rigged!
The scoring should all be fixed at this point, let me know if you see anything out of order. Thanks for mentioning it.
I made a community map called Daytona, and it's supposed to be 3 laps but you have to go through the 1st checkpoint 4 times to win, so is the "start line" supposed to be checkpoint 1? Not sure if it's an issue or not https://slingshotspeeders.com/r/tdr4p2s5
Thanks for mentioning this I noticed while playing. Seems to be an issue specifically with ordering for community maps sequential win conditions after the update to allow mixing of win types.
Awesome thanks again for bringing this up, so the logic has been refined and standardized. The problem was that the Trefoil map was deceivingly not displaying that you immediately go through the first checkpoint at the start, so the logic was bugged with a specific condition. Simplified it, should all be the same now, Apollo was never affected, had to wipe Daytona and Trefoil for equitable competition given that changing that made the Daytona map one checkpoint shorter, and Trefoil starting point was slightly moved.
