How disgusting would a dog be if in stead of panting the sweat like people?
My dog just came in from outside. And is panting a lot. I know its how they cool off, and it made me think how disgusting dog would be if they sweat like people. All the matted,wet hair. This applies to all animals. I just imagine a purring cat jumping onto your lap and its wet... from sweat

Dogs DO sweat, but only from their noses and the pads of their feet.
And it smells like corn chips!

And if you put beef strips under your saddle, the salts and heat will turn it into jerky
