New Mexico land commissioner shoots down Canadian data center company’s pitch at Spaceport America
New Mexico Commissioner of Public Lands Stephanie Garcia Richard on Thursday shot down a Canadian company’s pitch to build a solar-powered data center at Spaceport America.
Green Data CEO Jason Bak has been in talks with Spaceport officials for years about building a data center on the property, which is on leased state trust land. Bak has engaged in those talks on behalf of another one of his companies, Aetherion.

That tech is useless at NM humidity levels. This guy is a joke.
I know an engineer who met with the supposed inventor of the atmospheric water generators, but he said the NDA he had to sign to rebut the plans was so oppressive he chose not to see them.
Bak, the CEO of the company wanting to build the data center was previously ceo of another company, left the company with $~$650k in debt. New CEO turned a mill + profit the first year.
There is speculation in the area this company is not legit, that he is just scamming everyone.
