What did we take last month? (August 2026)

Here's a great place to share how you've managed to cope with being a money generating machine for your ungrateful employer. Individuals individually taking back what is rightfully theirs from their overreaching employers. Go as ham as you're comfortable!

Not for my benefit but for our customers, I always approve warranty claims for any of our products whether I'm supposed to or not. Usually the reason for a denial is just some documentation missing or extra testing that someone wants done. Occasionally I can even get a warranty claim through after the warranty is expired without anyone noticing.

The only time I won't cheese the paperwork to get someone an RMA is if I can tell that the problem is something other than our product, in which case sending out a warranty replacement is just wasting their time.

When I worked at a grocery store in college I used to steal sooo much food. Steaks, wine, beer, good cheese you name it I stole it. I used to work in the sangwich making dept and would make a triple decker to take home just about every day.

one thing that makes me mad is when I was young it was fairly common for restaurants and food places to have food be a perk of working a shift and also discounts when you came in on your own you could use with guests. It was a big reason to work food service.

Might also know a guy who, up until a hard T-break four weeks ago, had been stoned at work for the past five years. Now he's raw-dogging life after giving up 32 years of alcoholism, weed (perhaps temporarily), and quitting the psych meds he was prescribed by an unqualified primary care PA. Today, his clarity is something . Sure, worst possible time to be fundamentally changing one's life in such a dramatic way, but if anything, it has made that guy more in tune with and in control of his reactions to environmental stimuli. Even moreso than when he previously sought out his vices to aid in ignoring it all.

Don't be like this guy though. He's a neatly wrapped mess and no longer fun . 😁

I would totally still be a daily user if not for my brain deciding it needed to suddenly cannibalize itself. A real bummer over here. 🫤
