God forbid Apple goes for >18 hours of battery life. Im sick of my S5 but I think I may hold off another year.

Yeah I think there should always be a healthy battery buffer, especially since it depletes over time. There can never be enough.

I regularly get 24+ hours on my S8, including using the sleep tracking and a 45 minute workout every day.

I’d shell out $800 for an ultra if it got 3 full days of battery life without having to use a power saving mode. Until then, I’ll stick with my Garmin. 14 days of battery life if you don’t workout and if you workout 3 or 4 days a week, it’s closer to 10 days.

Yeah, my Venu 2 is kicking ass in that department. No other supposedly-smart watch can touch it.

So, I’ve got an ultra and I legitimately charge it once every three days. Everything turned on and a couple of GPS workouts.

So more than advertised, I know. But I’ve been hooked to my Garmin Fenix 6X Pro Sapphire and now I’m not looking back since I got the ultra. It is a smart watch. Not just something that shows a notification every once in a while.

Likewise. It’s not as good as battery life on lower end “smart-watches” but for what it is 3 days is pretty impressive.

Love the battery life. My S5 is holding on with 80% of capacity.
