They reach at least 45 million average monthly users in the EU and therefore meet the threshold. Now, they have four months to comply with additional obligations, including assessing and mitigating risks related to illegal content, negative effects on minors, users’ mental wellbeing, fundamental rights and public security. You know how to make them not produce harmful content for minors? Not with age checks. No. Just by forcing them not to produce harmful content for anyone. So easy. Please enforce that instead of age checks which will never work.
