CoMaps is fantastic! I only wish that CoMaps and/or Vela Maps supported Android Auto... But I understand that Google is gate-keeping.
CoMaps does support Android Auto, but only if you download it from the Play Store.
Is there any solution or there that can consider current traffic? All the road construction work ought to be especially doable since it's not just an unpredictable short-term incident.
Probably hard to do.
One of the benefits of the big data hoarding companies is they have the resources and DGAF energy to harvest data from every phone using their system in order to get very accurate real time data on traffic conditions.
It takes a lot more effort to do this in a way that respects user privacy, and a lot of infrastructure to provide those updates in real time. A lot to ask from small dev teams working on free apps.
