There is no such thing as Hurd Linux. The Hurd/Mach and Linux are both entirely different kernels. I wonder how someone could allow this to be published, knowing that there is no such thing as Hurd Linux.

Asides from the article, I do think it is possible to create a Hurd Linux. The Hurd in reality is just a collection of translators that make the GNU Mach useful, like the ext2fs. If someone were to create a Linux based microkernel, it would be possible to port the Hurd to it. Now that would be a tremendous amount of rewriting to make a Hurd Linux kernel, but in theory it is possible.
