It was a natural conclusion to the gas bubble AI.

Confusing headline, but the article clarifies. Theyre comparing total new gas-fired power plants. In the US, the AI bubble has caused the US to overtake China in constructing new gas plants. Im pretty sure the new Chinese plants are just tied to real industry/economic development, and not the AI bullshit specifically.

Given climate change, someone doing something to bring this number down could argue it's self defense.
