Much of Ancient Greek and Roman philosophy (which modern western philosophy is deeply influenced by) is itself directly derived from Zoroastrianism and the Ancient Egyptian religion.

Context: This meme argues that Western philosophy didn't just come out of nowhere. It points out that Greek and Roman thinkers were actually borrowing from older traditions like Zoroastrianism and Egyptian religion. The image shows the entire edifice of Western philosophy propped up by these ancient systems, which kind of flips the usual "it's all Greek" narrative. Not bad for a meme with a lot of soldiers carrying the weight.

And Zoroastrianism is from ancient Persia, or is that incorrect?
