Anyway, I loved this game back in the day. Fortunately the music puzzle (later on, with the bugs) was not random and you could look up a guide — if you're tone deaf, you're not solving it. Hopefully they fix that one. Not everyone can identify tones.
Rest of the game was awesome, though, and it's one of my favourites. You can get it dirt cheap on GOG these days. I'm not sure how it runs on Mac or Linux though.
I had this and played a long way through and got to a point where it would crash every time. Drove me crazy.
Still have the disc of this. I'd play it again but I no longer have a physical media drive.....😅
I hadn't used physical media for over a decade, but recently I've been enjoying going back to using it. It's nice to physically own digital content again.
If you still have the disc, you could always pick up an external optical drive. They can be powered entirely using USB-C and are on par with internal drives.
I keep meaning to get one, just never get around to it, always something more important to pay for unfortunately.
