Sonic is as coordinated, hardy, and physically-strong as Spider-Man, and that's not even talking about speed. He also smashes clean through robots and spaceships with his own back and head, shrapnel and all.
Not needed to make my point, but yee. No matter how you put it, Sonic is a superhero, and his abilities and traits are as fleshed out and flexible as any major DC or Marvel superhero's.
