I mean, not really. The security does basically nothing except let the government harass everyone traveling by air. The locking cockpits are the actual thing that stopped hijackings, not whatever the fuck TSA is doing.
Security lines are an easy target for terrorists. They'd rather you blow up 100 people in line to be anally probed + some ropes rather than ram two planes into executive offices.

Ok this is true at some airports but the last time I was in LAX if your boarding pass doesn't match your bags your gonna have a bad time.
