If they’ve decided socialism is rational and support socialist policies, then they’re by definition not class traitors. You can be financially successful and still be a socialist.
These folks are not stupid. They know the extra taxes they’d be paying would have indirect benefits to themselves, as well as the well-being of all.
This is what gets me about the whole "but JB Pritzker's toilets" argument. The guy is constantly pushing policies to lift up the less fortunate, protect the marginalized, and improve life for his constituents. Taking advantage of any tax loopholes available, which is what we all do, is not a gotcha.
