No, guardian, this won't do. Stop beating around the bush. This IS murder, genocide and torture, and we can only start making actionable plans against it when we call it by its name! And maybe it's too urgent to be all newspapery-normalizey about it. More we let it fester longer the time to heal after all has burned down. Remember the last time.

You are clearly new to lemmy. During the election there was a huge campaign against voting in the election at all, because both parties are the same.
They think we don't know both sides are bad just because we prefer one over the other when forced to choose. It makes them feel all smug to get sanctimonious and think their preferred modus operandi is readily achievable, and we're just too dumb to choose it. These people don't operate in IRL reality.
They're out to demoralize the opposition by parroting the conservative propaganda that everybody ackshually loves trump and nobody voted against him ever.
Doesn't matter if Bush, Obama, Trump, or Biden serves, Guantanamo Bay and the like have been in operation and torturing away.
