Covid vaccines are no longer free after Oct 1. Who's getting one ? I haven't had a booster in a few years. ( 5 years I reckon ) Wondering whether to participate.
I'm going for a big drive in the 12.6 ton truck today. Five hours each way past the town called "Miles". Bum will be numb by the time I get back.
On Friday after work at noon I put on the wheel security nuts that I had bought. The type for your car wheels that have a certain puzzle-like pattern. Well I got to the last one and it was different from the previous three. DOH !
I went to Supercheap near the Logan Hyperdome on my way home and sorted out an exchange. The girl behind the counter had to check of course which is ok.
Well upon searching the racks it turns out they had none. I went to the parts desk for assistance. A lad searched the drawers but there were none available. He phoned the Victoria point branch and asked them to hold a set for me. He had to check them of course which is fair enough.
I drove to the next branch and got the replacement set no problem. The lady behind the counter had to check them OF COURSE WHICH IS FAIR ENOUGH........
Ahem......calm calm......it's not quite as cold as it has been.

I tend to get them as I have shitty skin on my nose so I scratch it a lot, I also work in the city
So it's pretty much a perfect payload delivery system for viruses/malware/etc
