This is just the dumbest shit imaginable, and all for what reason? What is the benefit? None. Why?

Non-protruding door handles marginally improve drag properties. Same with them wanting to get rid of side mirrors. It's small gains, but it is gains. And non-protruding doesn't mean the shit they've decided to implement, there's mechanical ways to accomplish this if they really care

Rivian does it on their trucks I believe. And AMC and British Leland both figured it out in the fucking 1970s.
