Blocks & Filters => hide posts that contain keywords you specify - special characters in keyword

Some poster labels some of their posts, always starting with [word].

I would like to filter these posts out, but if I add [word] or \[word\] as a filter it does not work; only word works as desired, but I find that too broad and would like to add the brackets. Is it possible?

I tested again with a few more variations: [Mimi] "[Mimi]" \[Mimi\] "Mimi" - only Mimi works as desired. I'd love to know how exactly this filter is coded, can I look this up somewhere? I mean obviously in the sourcecode, but where exactly?

In my testing [word] works as desired. Can you give me the specific word and a sample post?

Yes it's about the home feed!

BTW I just edited my previous comment; it seemed to work once, now it doesn't again.

Removing the [] makes it work again.

Just as originally stated.
