My mother said she knew we wouldn't have kids because me and twin would carry our dolls around by their feet and let their heads hit the ground.

Maybe it was she hoped we didn't lol

I like kids. I mean some of them. They can be interesting and fun. Other peoples that is. Not having any.

Our first at 39, considering more in the future,

Wouldn't have wanted to do it before 35 at least, that's around when we started casually discussing.

Love this little guy so much.

Wouldn't have wished the lifestyle on anyone under 30. Teenage pregnancy should be considered child abuse for both parties.

I dont think its olay to not like kids. That's how we get redditors calling children "crotch goblins."

It's perfectly fine to not like kids. It's not fine to act on that dislike and harm them, crotch goblins though they may be.

It's okay to not like kids, but its not okay to be an asshole about it. Kids exist, and youre going to run into them in the world. However if a kid is being a crotch goblin, their parents should be made aware of it.

"you HAVE to like these things because otherwise you'll start calling them names in places that children aren't present"

Oh nooooooooo

Sorry but no, I don't have to like kids.

And the fact that you posted this comment under this meme is really not a good look for you.

I like kids. Until I switched careers I'd worked with kids every age from newborn to 21 in caretaking, babysitting, education and youth/social work.

But I don't like having kids (I imagine) and neither does my partner, so we just don't have them
